Why does the brokerage connection window have a spinning icon when the Add Account button is clicked?

This happens if you have third-party cookies blocked in your browser. To fix this issue, you will need to explicitly add our site, *.StockRover.com as an allowed third party cookie, or alternatively, allow all third party cookies in your browser settings.

The steps below show how to allow third party cookies explicitly for stockrover.com with the Chrome browser:

  1. Click on the horizontal bar icon in the upper right corner of the browser
  2. Select Settings from the menu
  3. Select Privacy and security
  4. Go to Cookies and other site data
  5. Go to Sites that can always use cookies and click Add
  6. Enter [*].stockrover.com in the site box and check the box “Including third-party cookies on this site” (see the screenshot below)
  7. Click Add to complete the update

Alternatively, if you want to allow all third-party cookies, you can change the setting to “Allow all cookies” or “Block third-party cookies in Incognito”.
