Organizing Screeners in Folders

Organizing your screeners into different folders allows you to group your screeners into different categories of your choosing. You can create as many folders as you like. For example Growth, Value and Momentum, or Ranked and Unranked. To enable screener folders, go to your user name in the top right corner, and in the drop-down menu select the ‘Preferences’ item.

In the window, check the box to enable screener folders.

Now all of your screeners will be in a ‘Default’ folder in the Navigation panel. You can right-click this folder to rename it.

To create more screeners folders, right-click on the ‘Screeners’ folder and select ‘Create Folder’ from the drop-down menu. After giving it a name, it will appear under ‘Screeners’ in the Navigation panel.

Dragging and dropping the screeners into the different folders is supported, in addition dragging and dropping the folders themselves enables you to rearrange folder order.

Clicking on ‘Screeners’ in the Navigation panel runs all the screeners. The Table will display a row for each screener and a summary for each of the screener folder groupings, as shown below.

Renaming a Screener

Right-clicking a selected screener in the Navigation panel and selecting ‘Rename Screener’ from the drop-down menu or clicking ‘Rename this Screener’ in the Screener Actions panel initiates the rename operation.

Copying a Screener

Right-clicking a selected screener in the Navigation panel and selecting ‘Copy Screener’ from the drop-down menu or clicking ‘Copy this Screener’ in the Screener Actions panel initiates a copy operation.

Deleting a Screener

Right-clicking a selected screener in the Navigation panel and selecting ‘Delete Screener’ from the drop-down menu or clicking ‘Delete this Screener’ in the Screener Actions panel initiates a delete operation. This action is permanent.

Exporting a Screener

Right-clicking a selected screener in the Navigation panel and selecting ‘Export Screener’ from the drop-down menu or clicking ‘Export in Stock Rover Format’ in the Screener Actions panel initiates an export operation

The export downloads the screener to a txt file, which is importable into Stock Rover. The export file also displays a readable version of the screener criteria, as shown below.
