Managing the Panels

The panels in the Stock Rover user interface can be easily manipulated to optimize the use of screen real estate.

Resizing a Panel

All panels can be resized by dragging their edges with your cursor. Note that some panels may have a minimum width.

Collapsing a Panel

Most panels, as well as subpanels such as the Navigation Panel, can be collapsed completely by clicking the triangle button, as shown below.

Panels can also be collapsed completely by double-clicking the white border between panels, as shown below.

To reopen a collapsed panel, click the triangle button again.

Detaching a Panel

Premium users have the ability to detach the Chart and Insight panels from the home screen so that Stock Rover panels can be spread across multiple windows.

Markets, Stock Ratings, Analytics, Correlation, Future Income, Future Simulations, Rebalancing, Alerts, Earnings Calendar, and Metric Browser are all features that can also be detached.

To detach any detachable window, click the button shown below, which will be in the rightmost part of the blue header bar in the panel you want to detach.

To return a panel to the home screen, close the detached panel window and the panel will displayed in its home screen location.

Maximizing a Panel

Users also have the ability to maximize the Main Table, Chart and Insight panels, so the maximized panel occupies the entire home screen.

To maximize any of the panels, click this button, which will be on the right side of the blue header bar in the panel you want to maximize.

Restoring All Panels

To restore panels to the home screen, click on All in the Research section of the Start menu on the left side of the screen.

If the Insight or Chart Panel has been maximized, there is a restore all panels icon that can be clicked as seen in the screenshots below. This will restore all three panels back, Insight, Chart and Table.
