Why is there a Count column in the table?

The count column appears when you are using the checkbox option in the table for Portfolios, Watchlists or Screeners and are displaying table data at the ticker level.

For example if you display checkboxes for portfolios and check three portfolios, and then display by ticker in the table, then there will be one row per ticker for every ticker that is in one or more of the three portfolios.

In this case, the count column will always appear along with the “container” column. Using our portfolio example, the count column will tell you how many of the portfolios from the checked group, the given ticker is in. The container column, which in this case is the “Portfolio” column, will list out which portfolios the ticker is in.

By default these dynamic columns are at the beginning of the view, next to the ticker. If you don’t want these columns at the beginning of the view, you can right-click on them and select Move Last, this will move the columns to the end of the view. The Count and container (portfolios, watchlists or screeners) column are linked together, they will move together. Note that these columns can’t be deleted.

Please see the Checkboxes help under the Table section for more information.
