This is typically because there is a lack of memory available on the iPad to keep the program running. Simply shut down other apps in order to run Stock Rover. To shut down an app, double tap the home button to see all of your open apps, then swipe upward on any given app to close it.
Please also note that Stock Rover is not supported on the iPad 1 due to its memory constraints.
