Organizing your watchlists into folders allows you to group them into specific categories of your choosing—for example: Growth, Value, and Momentum. To enable watchlist folders, click your username in the top-right corner and select ‘Preferences’ from the drop-down menu.
In the Preferences window, check the box to enable watchlist folders.
Right-clicking on a folder exposes several configuration options, including the ability to rename the folder.
To create a new folder, right-click on ‘Watchlists’ in the Navigation Panel and select ‘Create Folder’ from the menu.
You can drag and drop watchlists into folders to organize them; additionally, you can drag and drop the folders themselves to rearrange their display order.
When you click ‘Watchlists’ in the Navigation Panel, you can use the multi-select option to choose all or specific watchlists. Once the Watchlists button is selected in the Table, you’ll see a summary row for each selected watchlist and each folder.
You can also view every individual ticker from all chosen watchlists in the Table by selecting the Stocks button.
The easiest way to combine watchlists is to load one of the lists into the Table. Select all tickers by clicking the first row and shift-clicking the last, then right-click any selected ticker and choose ‘Add To Watchlist’ to pick your destination list.
To rename a watchlist, right-click the desired list in the Navigation Panel and select ‘Rename Watchlist’ from the drop-down menu.
To copy a watchlist, right-click the list in the Navigation Panel and select ‘Copy Watchlist’. This is useful for creating a “sandbox” version of a list before making major changes.
To delete a watchlist, right-click the list in the Navigation Panel and select ‘Delete Watchlist’. Note that the delete action is permanent.
To export a watchlist, right-click the list in the Navigation Panel and select ‘Export Watchlist’ from the menu.
The export tool allows you to download the watchlist to a CSV file (great for Excel) or to a specific format that can be re-imported into Stock Rover later.
