Why does the Holdings tab show holdings that I no longer own?

The Portfolio Analysis Holdings tab shows past holdings so that you can get a complete picture of the entire portfolio over the period, not just to see how the stocks you currently own are doing. Even if you sold all of your shares of XYZ stock, it still contributed (positively or negatively) to your portfolio’s return over the period, which is why it is included. To exclude prior holdings from the list, you can uncheck the Closed Positions option above the table.
