The free plan is designed for users that want to do basic research on individual stocks and keep up with the markets. Paid plans have access to Stock Rover’s full suite of investment research, screening, comparison, and portfolio tracking tools. Details on the features available with each subscription tier can be found on our plan comparison page.

Almost all features are available during the trial. Due to a licensing restriction, Trial members cannot export Tables to CSV files. In addition, the trial includes access to 20 Research Reports plus the Dow 30, along with up to 5 Stock Ratings Reports. All other features are available to Trial members.

Yes you can. You can change between plans as often as you like. The instructions for changing your trial type can be found here.

Yes, you can cancel your trial. You can do this by selecting the down arrow next to your username in the top right corner of Stock Rover and then select Change Trial. You will see the option to “Cancel Your Trial” as seen in the screenshot below. When you cancel your trial, your account will revert to a Free account.

If you want to both cancel your trial and delete your account, be sure to check the “Also delete my account” box.

You will not be charged, and no action is required on your part. Once your Trial ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan.

Please note: Stock Rover does not request credit card information when you sign up for a Trial. You will only be charged if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.

You can upgrade to a paid subscription at any time here or within the Stock Rover app by following these instructions. Please note that paid subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle unless canceled.

Yes, but you may stop the automatic renewal at any time. Please also note that if you cancel a plan that is no longer currently offered, you will not be able to re-enroll in that plan; you will only be able to re-enroll in one of our current plans at the current rates.

Turning off auto-renewal for your premium membership is the same as cancelling. You will still have the use of the Stock Rover premium plan you have contracted for through the rest of your paid subscription period. After that, your account will revert to our Free account.

To turn off automatic renewal, which cancels your premium membership going forward, first login to your Stock Rover account. Then from within Stock Rover, click the down arrow next your username in the top right corner of Stock Rover, and then select Change Plan as shown in the screenshot below.

If you have a Research Reports subscription, which is a separate subscription, and wish to cancel that as well, be sure to also check the Cancel Research Reports box, which is below the Cancel Stock Rover box.

You can view instructions for changing or upgrading your plan in the Stock Rover app, or upgrade through our website here.

You can update your payment method by logging into Stock Rover application and locating your username in the upper right-hand corner. Click on the dropdown menu, and select ‘Account Settings’. The ‘Account Settings’ Window will open. On the top bar, select the ‘Update Payment Method’ tab. Here you can change or update your payment information. Stock Rover accepts credit cards or PayPal.

You can also update your credit card or PayPal information directly on the Stock Rover website here.

No, but as a free member, you will no longer be able to access them, though your portfolios will remain accessible in your dashboard. However, if you decide to re-enroll in a paid plan, all your saved items (such as watchlists, screeners, notes, tags, etc.) will be fully restored.
