We are excited to announce a powerful new capability we have added to Stock Rover called Stock Rover Research Reports.
This new product provides a comprehensive summary on any of the 7000+ stocks we track in Stock Rover on the U.S. and Canadian exchanges. Research reports can be viewed in your browser and can be produced in PDF format for portability and sharing.
The first page of a sample Stock Rover Research Report for an example company (Home Depot) is shown below.
To see an example of the entire stock research report in PDF format, click here.
Currently Stock Rover Research Reports is in Beta. While in Beta, Premium Plus users will have unlimited use of the facility. Essentials and Premium users can see research reports for any of the Dow 30 stocks. Premium users can also enter three additional tickers per month to view. Essentials users can view one additional ticker per month. We expect the product to remain in Beta until the late February, early March time-frames, but that is subject to change.
You can run the facility by right clicking on any stock ticker from the Table and selecting Research Report as shown below.
You can also run the report from the Insight Panel as shown below via the red arrows.
Some key features of the Stock Rover Research Report include our quantitative scores for stocks in the areas of value, quality, growth and sentiment. The research report also includes the computed fair value and margin of safety for the stock.
Research reports also highlight any warnings or issues of concern for the stock as well.
The research report encompasses much of the comprehensive information that is in the Stock Rover Insight Panel. It also includes new information not currently found in Stock Rover, such as seasonal performance as shown below.
The report includes a new risk section incorporating information such as the best and worst monthly performance for a stock in the last 5 years. Other risk statistics such as the 1 and 3 year beta and volatility are included as well as a volatility graph over time and the maximum drawdown for a stock over the last 1, 3 and 5 year periods.>
The Research Report is eight pages long and is structured as follows:
The plan is to offer the Stock Rover Research Report facility as a separate product. This offering is designed for investors who just want the research reports and do not need or want everything else that Stock Rover provides.
For investors that want both Stock Rover and the Research Report facility, we plan to offer Research Reports as a low priced add-on to current subscription plans.
And for our current Stock Rover Essentials and Premium customers, there will be an introductory offer with special extra low cost pricing. Premium Plus users will receive the best deal of all, the extra cost will be zero. The introductory prices will be grandfathered for life, as long as the Stock Rover paid subscription is continuously maintained.
The introductory pricing offers will be available through 7/31/2020. After this date, Research Reports will be available as a separately priced add-on with regular pricing for all plans.
Stock Rover Research Reports makes it very easy to do a deep dive on any stock with one click of a mouse. Everything you would want to know about the stock is incorporated into the report. The information is displayed in a clear and well-structured way, making it effortless to do comprehensive research on a company.
So please be sure to check out our new Research Reports facility and let us know what you think.
awesome new feature !
Seems fair as to these reports.
As one who has a number of subscriptions to various providers and who actively sells options, may I suggest two very critical items of information to become available:
Implied Volatility Ratio (IVR)-suggested at a minimum for one year period which allows one to guage current volatility of a security to itself. The best explanation of this ratio is through tastytrade and is readily available in tastyworks brokerage platform. Interactive Brokers due to demand more recently started to provide this information.
Liquidity of an underlying security’s options-again this is explained per above and is only available on the tastyworks platform. They use a 4star system to guage liquidity. Critical and a necessity.
The quality and volume of your information is what differentiates you.
Thank you for feedback. We will research the feasibility of including this information in a future version of Stock Rover.
The new research reports feature is terrific! I hope this will be included as part of the Premium Plus subscription package. Keep up the great work, and thank you.
Absolutely love the Stock Research Report! Being a Premium Plus member, I really look forward to the attractive pricing your team has to offer once this feature exits beta. I really feel having some features for options would tremendously increase the value of Stock Rover and make it a one-stop-shop for individual investors managing their portfolios. Keep up the great work and look forward to more exciting features being added this year.
i would love to see more on the options and some way to see the rate of change over m/m,3m,6m, 1year
Thank you for the feedback. That will be coming in a future version of the product.
This is exactly what I was looking for – when will it be available?
It is available now. It is in the product for Premium Plus users. All other users can get the Dow 30 plus 5 tickers per month.
I thought that SR had nearly everything I wanted with the possible exception of cut and paste. Your new stock reports actually does that for me now with little or no effort. And… The seasonality is a topic that has interested me for some time. In the past I have made a few notes on my Google Calendar with the intent of following up with some sectors and individual stocks. But, I never had the confidence. So, Seasonality is most excellent… Everything else seems to be in SR now with some searching. The Stock Report makes going over a stock a bit more organized and a little less thought provoking and perhaps; comprehensive.
When I try to open a research report, I get the separate window opened with a splash screen, but the report is never sent, and I have to eventually just close the extra window. I checked MS Edge options that I have popups enables and didn’t find any other options that looked like they might relate. I’m running on current Windows 10 and MS Edge.
It’s probably because Edge is being really slow. If you upgrade to the new Chromium Edge it’ll work way better.
the stock rover report looks fantastic to me, all the basic necessary data are in
as an idea you can include a section whether options for this particular stock are available,
time frames etc. etc.
