Stock Rover™ Announces the Release of V4.1

Braintree, MA - February 6, 2014

Today Stock Rover LLC released version 4.1 of Stock Rover, which introduces two major new features and a number of minor refinements and improvements.

The first major feature is The Stock Rover Correlation Facility. The Correlation Facility allows you to easily see how closely the price changes of stocks within your portfolios or entire portfolios correlate to each other and to the portfolio as a whole. The optional “heat map” setting makes it easy to see which assets are most and least correlated to one another at a glance via background color intensity.

Understanding correlation is critical for constructing portfolios that contain diverse assets with low correlations. Low correlation translates in to higher risk-adjusted return. It is the only “free lunch” in investing. The Stock Rover Correlation Facility can be run for any date range the user desires and can correlate anything that Stock Rover prices. Stock Rover can price over 40,000 individual tickers as well as composite entities such as indices, portfolios, and watchlists.

In addition to the correlation facility, Stock Rover now has the ability to detach the Chart and/or the Insight Panel into separate windows, thereby providing better support for multi-monitor and large monitor configurations.

In addition to these major new features, there were a number of minor refinements and improvements made both to the desktop and tablet versions of Stock Rover, as well as adding new metrics such as Forward P/E and Fiscal Year Date.
