Welcome to Stock Rover. In this video, we’re going to walk through the dashboard, your one-stop home screen for tracking your portfolios and staying on top of the market. You can open the dashboard right at the top of the start menu under Today’s Market.

This is your customizable control panel designed to give you an instant snapshot of what matters most. Think of it as your financial cockpit. You’ll see portfolio performance, market movers, sector strength, even upcoming earnings all in one place.

And the best part is you can personalize everything. Click on the hamburger icon in the top right corner of any section to adjust settings. You can choose which portfolios to include. You can turn sections on and off and even reorder the sections. You can also set the date range for your analysis.

The Dashboard

  1. Portfolio Overview

At the very top, you’ll see how your selected portfolios are performing compared to benchmarks like the S&P 500 over the time period you choose.

  2. Portfolio Gains

Below that, you’ll find portfolio gains in a tabular view. Sort any of the columns to quickly see how each portfolio was doing.

  3. Holdings Map

Next is the Holdings Map, a heat map showing which of your tickers are up or down. The tickers are grouped by sector — and the size of a rectangle is the proportional size of the holding in the selected portfolios. Hover over any ticker to see details.

  4. Market Movers

Market movers highlights the most actives as well as the biggest gainers and losers for the selected index.

  5. Sector Performance

Sector performance gives you a quick read on which areas of the market are hot and which are cooling off. We’ll sort the returns column.

  6. 52-Week Highs and Lows

This section shows which stocks in your index are hitting fresh highs or lows.

  7. Portfolio Charting

Here you can chart your portfolio’s returns and value over time. You can even add benchmarks. You can also jump to the optional Analytics for deeper insights.

  8. Holdings Performance

This section lets you see the performance of each holding. You can also group the table. Let’s sort the column. You can also hover for extra detail.

  9. Future Projected Income

Future projected income forecasts your dividends monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Clicking full details launches the optional future income tool which provides a deeper dive.

  10. Earnings Calendar

Stay on top of your earnings reports with the built-in calendar. You can select which tickers to include and also sort. The display can be customized with a simple click.

  11. Market News

And finally, there’s market news which keeps you up to date with real-time headlines from trusted financial sources.
