Stock Rover™ Announces the Launch of Open Beta

Braintree, MA - March 6, 2012

Stock Rover LLC today launched the open beta of Stock Rover, a Web 2.0 investment research platform which enables individual investors to perform fundamental and technical analysis on investable securities. Stock Rover brings advanced functionality previously found in only the most sophisticated institutional tools to the individual investor in an intuitive user interface. It is the first Web 2.0 application of its kind allowing investors to research and compare stocks and Exchange Traded Funds in an application directly in their web browser.

Traditionally, individual investors have conducted research using static Web 1.0 sites, in which a stock’s ticker symbol is entered into a field, a new web page is drawn, and the retrieved information must be manually entered or exported to a spreadsheet for analysis and comparison. Stock Rover simplifies investment analysis by allowing investors to view, sort and compare any of roughly 300 performance metrics directly within their browser. Investors can define custom stock screens based on these metrics to identify investable securities which perfectly match their investment strategies. These screens can also be used as filters to determine how closely any stock or ETF matches an investment strategy, which is particularly useful in removing emotion when reviewing stock portfolios. Investors can also define custom table views containing only the metrics of interest, enabling them to make rapid comparisons at a glance across many different dimensions. Stocks can also be charted against one another or against major indices graphically. Stock Rover automatically saves investor’s workspaces in the Cloud so a user can login from anywhere to access their information.

Pricing and Availability

While in beta, Stock Rover is free of charge and can be accessed at www.stockrover.com.
